My sweetly awesome blog. Uh... I'm trying to blog every day now. I want a drumset. That is all.
Technically, komodo is an adjective. It's a separate word. So if someone says "That's a japanese water dragon!" you would say "no, it's a KOMODO dragon." On the other hand, if someone says "Look at that komodo monitor lizard!" you would say "That's 'komodo DRAGON.'"
ReplyDeleteAlso, you should add a third option to your pronunciation polls: whatever Jon is about to say.
ReplyDeleteWhat if someone asks, "What's that?"
ReplyDeleteWould you say, "Oh, that? It's a KOMODO Dragon," or would you say," Oh, that? It's a komodo DRAGON?"
